Lake Crescent Lodge - circa 1916: right on the shore of the Olympic Peninsula’s largest natural lake, just about 18 miles west of Port Angeles. http://www.lakecresentlodge.com/ (360)928-3211.
Lake Quinalt Lodge- This is a very gorgeous lodge that was buile in 1926. It overlooks Quinalt Lake which is located on the Quinalt Indian Reservation about 45 miles north of Hoquiam. (360)288-2900. http://www.visitlakequinault.com/
Kalaloch Lodge - This log cabin post opened in 1931 and was rebuilt after a fire in 1946. It was remodeled again about 10 years ago. The cabins are perched above a large bluff and above the Olympic National Park’s wild wilderness coast and is about 70 miles north of Hoquiam. Definatetly worth a visit. Olympi National Park-Surrounded by three lodges and the area is covered with wonderful nature walks all the way to difficult level overnight hikes. Some of the finest rivers, wild beaches and trails in the Pacific Northwest. (360)565-3130. www.nps.gov/olym
Another fine place to visit is Ocean Shores about 15 miles north of Hoquiam. It is a very fun touristy place and the rooms are all condo’s that are handled by one agent.
