Belfair Washington Real Estate and Mason Lake
Mason Lake is absolutely “The Premier Waterski Lake” for all of Mason County. It consists of 995 acres of water!! Pretty impressive in size. There is a public park and public boat launch and it has some of the prettiest homes the county has to offer. Paradise Estates is the neighborhood that a lot of Seattle, Olympia and Tacoma full time residents have bought vacation cabins to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. However, many other vacation homes exist around most of the lake. Even though there are a lot of lakes in the area, Mason is high on the list of desirable and sought after lake properties. It sits between Shelton and Belfair 15 minutes to Hood Canal. Worth the trip if you enjoy waterskiing or jetskiing.
Mason Lake is also a favorite for anglers. This lake is best during summer for Kokanee and Bass, bullheads and Sun Perch (yellow perch). Access is froma County park at the North end, a marina and Simpson Timber Company’s Recreation area. It is open year around.
Real Estate Agents in Washington really enjoy selling properties on or around this lake. There is a wonderful group of people who enjoy the country club and all of the activities that they run there. Activities go on all year long including dances, bake sales, Christmas bazaar, community garage sale and more. Mason Lake is only one of the Olympic Peninsula’s many fine lakes. There are about 200 lakes in the area. Call today if you would like more information on any of our Washington waterfront homes for sale. http://peninsulahomeresource.com
